The Vision

Movies are the most influential medium available to the artist today. The vast majority of people watch films. Public opinion is swayed by the current top ten. But the film industry seems so devoid of morals. Christians picket and protest, but does it accomplish much? Christians make their own films, but they are geared for people who are already Christians, and that is often a turn off for the world at large.

I want to see Christians enter into the film industry, not to tear it down through protests, but to build it up by ministering to the people within the industry. To be a “light to the dark places” I want to see the film industry changed from within.

This is what the SDF does. It trains Christians to go into Hollywood and shine. We teach them excellence as a lifestyle, to be integrous in their walk, and to show Christ with everything they do.
